Tracy brings over 25 yrs. of experience in the selection, planning, and implementation of enterprise applications including Workday and a broad spectrum of HCM, CRM, and ERP platforms. Tracy has directly led several Workday projects, including a recent and challenging project in 2019 for a market leader in the industrial services sector. Tracy is well-versed in the Workday implementation methodology and shared services design and realization. While a Senior Director at Alvarez and Marsal, Tracy served as a firm liaison to Workday. 

As a hands-on program leader, Tracy has conducted much of the upfront analysis and business case development for Workday projects and worked actively with HR to manage many of the typical challenges faced by Human Resources organizations during Workday deployments. As a former enterprise CIO, Tracy has solid understanding of the partnership necessary between HR and Information Technology organizations for a successful program outcome and knows how to make these relationships productive. Working with Workday integrators, Tracy has used his knowledge of legacy HR systems, the Workday tenant build methodology, and years of experience improving processes to guide architecture, prototyping, and configuration. He has steered Workday projects teams around pitfalls associated with fragmented and low-quality legacy data, immature (or absent) processes in certain geographies, and a history of inadequate testing.  

Tracy has mitigated deployment risks with parallel plans for integration with ERP and master data hubs and raised awareness of Human Resource gaps that threaten the schedule for testing and training. Tracy also has experience with core change leadership concepts and understands how to incorporate them into working programs and project plans.
